CRIMINAL JUSTICE

The most important points to me is just the basic laws or the laws period. The criminal justice system is basically a legal system, its concerned with people’s conduct. Criminal Law has its reasons. The purpose for criminal law to even be here is to regulate behavior and maintain everything is order in all societies. If things wasn’t to go this way everything will be out of order and many things would have been different. Crimes are classified as felonies or misdemeanors, depending on their seriousness. There are two different kinds of elements in a crime, mental and physical. Mental elements are things such as mens rea, or intent. Defendants can deny their intent to commit crime.
